Live Beyond Obvious, Encourages Bajaj Avenger

 

People like Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg and Jan Koum have changed the world. They have made people replace human contacts and now there is no more need to have an actual human conversation. Apparently, according to a study, there are about 2,220,000,000 (2.22 billion) social network users worldwide. Isn’t that a lot of people?

The social media day is as a way to recognize and celebrate social media’s impact on global communication.

This year to mark the Social Media Day, Bajaj avenger came up with an ad campaign “Pledge to Connect” to earnestly ask people to take a break from their social lives and a hefty use of technology; and to have a reconnection with themselves and they convinced us beautifully.

The one and a half minute movie begins with our protagonist driving his Bajaj Avenger F.L.G. across the country, over the bridges, he travels around mountains and the meadows, and at every pit-stop he makes, he checks the phone for his signal. Not to find a better connection, but to free himself from the mobile network and to connect himself with the nature.

 Overall, the ad succeeds, it touches us and kept  us intriguing. and even though its predictable, its a job well done. The ad has been made by Mullen Lintas.
